I've not cooked with fish sauce myself, but I do enjoy dishes made with it. Dried fish is another matter though As an aside that is a really nice big hob, a very nice range cooker, and gas I'm envious
yep--thats a wok burner in the middle. Cooker is a Bush job--from currys 4 years ago--only about £450. But not really good quality build--you get what you pay for.
When and if I buy somewhere in Scotland I would really like something like that, I would not have thought you could get one that cheap. I would also like something like that in the Phils we have two cookers, one is a cheap 2 burner gas thing and the other is a proper cooker with oven and grill but it is very narrow compared to what we get over here.
Didn't know about dedicated wok burners either, just been looking at other ranges like this and I see the special supports for a round base wok, neat!
yes--its a whacking great double burner ring with an iron frame support to loft the wok up--even a round bottom one. My wife loves it. ( just waiting now for all the double entendre replies. Whos first ? )
I was Google Earthing various old lines in Glasgow and Paisley recently and trying to dig for old photos of stations I remembered from childhood like St Enoch's, any time I see a railway bridge like that it reminds me of the pre Beecham days when lines like that connected multiple mainlines and routes and I remember being a 4 or 5 year old walking with my dad in my Sunday cloths down streets that had these elevated lines.
