Oh yes, us UK men generally like our fish filleted, none of that chomping on bones and getting them stuck in your throat, like you said, we are spoiled :)

No fish known to man has more bones in it than a milkfish!

Is the milk fish the fish of the Philippines?

    Well, they are well cooked.

When my wife was pregnant they were talking to her about diet. She doesnt drink much milk, so they were a bit concerned. But when I told them she ate lots of fish bones they were happy she was getting enough calcium! :D

I'll take the glass of milk any day of the week for my calcium intake.

I think Filipinos are very hardy eaters compared with us, nothing against them for it as its just the way they are brought up. When I'm eating Jollibee chicken the loved one will often pick up the chicken pieces I have left when I have deemed that the chicken left on the bone is not worth bothering with and then completely strip it to the bone. She will eat the chicken skin too where I discard it, quite amused me at first. I often say to people that you shouldn't waste food

Same here. She eats the skin I leave. She loves chicken wings. I would rather have the breast fillet.

I always ask for the chicken breast too, don't want to be fiddling about with wings that don't have much meat on. When I eat crab over there or any other fiddly seafood I always ask her to prepare it for me.
I must say one thing, I've always said to the loved one how much I enjoy eating a meal with her, she always leaves me some of her food when she knows I like it, very unselfish, a trait of the Filipina.
