At the end of the day Trump has been elected with the people of the US knowing full well what his intentions were on immigration and a host of other matters, its down to Congress and Trump to decide their policy on immigration, no one else.

So, does that mean that people (whether American or otherwise) who oppose any of Trump's policies have no right to debate or oppose them?

People can debate it and oppose the idea as much as they like (just as with Brexit :)), the US is a democracy just like our great country.

    I have my fears too.
I always thought that Kennedy's hit, was an inside job............
Thoughts reinforced by his brother Bobby's assassination not too long after............
They must have made some very important people very uncomfortable somehow.

without a doubt both were taken out by insiders or their paymasters.
Had John F lived the world would be a better place,in my humble view. Equally had John Smith lived the labour party in the UK would be in a better place

My word, Trump has only been in the Whitehouse one week and we are talking about him being knocked off

I think he should be given a chance before we put a contract out on him :)

Trump will last the four years. I don't think there's been a president who hasn't been tipped for assassination since Kennedy.

I agree, maybe his fellow politicians will reign him in a little bit and he will mellow as time passes, or maybe he wont :)

He's certainly hit the ground running, I was expecting him to go back on a lot of his promises but its not looking that way.

I wonder what the relatives of the 1000s murdered at '9/11' and the European atrocities think of President Trump's policies... while others reach for their PC comfort blankets ?

SOMEBODY needed to grasp the nettle.

    SURPRISED really ? :D

To me it is entirely in character and exactly what we can expect for the next four years, a bully likes beating people up or having others beat people up for them, but the real rush for them is the exercise of power over others, expect to see a lot of that.

Yes I agree he will make the US a bigger target and when he starts getting scared that he is losing it just how exactly will he lash out?

The United States has of course been a 'target' for many many years. That will probably never change.... just as human blood vessels are a target for mosquitos. Apparently only the females bite, but...
SOME people have enough sense to realise that putting up screens against the enemy, rather than inviting them into your home, far from being 'bullying', is just good sense.

I see nothing wrong in wishing to protect my family from the murdering lunatics (or bloodsuckers) down the road.

The 9/11 attacks affected New York City. That is the city that is seeing some of the bigger protests. I wouldn't be surprised if some people affected by the 9/11 attacks are amongst those protesters. Until the opinion of the 1000s affected has been canvassed, it is quite inappropriate to use them as a tool to attack people from the opposite side of the argument.

It is also a moot point because you are suggesting that only people who have been affected at the hands if terrorism should be considered!

What happens if a majority of people affected by the 9/11 attacks oppose Trump's policy? Do they then drop down on your list of groups to be considered?

In America there are many murdering lunatics. Mostly they are Americans with guns. Not a target for Trump.
