Just heard them mention the oncoming typhoon on the BBC TV news just now. They even made passing reference to Bohol.

Yup I don't think I'd wanna be there right now. I think/hope the concrete structures should be fine, it's the nipa and wooden structures that will more susceptible.

Someone told me that that Cebu gets 1/3 of their power from geo-thermals in Leyte so maybe that's why there is reduced power
