I saw some spectacular harvest moons here over the last week I should have got my tripod out and my 200mm + 1.4x teleconverter if I had done that on my Canon 7D mk II I would have had some stunningly detailed moon shots. This Liverpool shot is great but you can see the heat, in large part because of the low elevation of the moon and the overall weather just now, a lot of rising air distortion, but lovely shot anyway!
I was up your way last weekend, being an admin I get to see IP location's, so I know roughly where you are posting from, I was up in Carnoustie visiting my sister and for the first time in many years (nearly 5 years) was back in Scotland and passed through the Glasgow, Perth route to Dundee nice drive just under 5 hours from England. Went for a morning out to Arbroath cliffs with my sister and brother in law, the haar was quite strong off the north sea it was beautiful. We got as far as Dickmont's Den and a little further past Gullie's island, but not as far as the Diels Heid sadly, none of us are very fit these days These were off my phone they originally posted vertically as I have some kind of problem with the orientation sensor on my phone, very annoying, I had to post the corrected lower resolution versions to get them to post as landscape.
