https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-48823520 Comic Omid Djalili has upset some social media users in Wales with a joke about the Welsh language. The comedian posted a picture of a road sign for Nantgaredig and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, bearing the translation Gardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol. Next to that the 53-year-old Londoner tweeted: "There are worse things than being Welsh, dyslexic & having a terrible stutter. But not many." I see the Taffia Twitter mob are out in force with their highly predictable fake outrage. They're obviously bored after burning down holiday homes, glueing locks on shops and banks, and telling English pensioners in North Wales to go home. Most people in Wales will laugh at this joke.
I'd hate to think of the reaction had he chosen Scottish or Irish landmarks in Gaelic: the Kilted Keyboard Kommandos (KKK - geddit?!!) would make his life rather miserable.
