Blackpool has its's knockers but I have always been a great fan of the town. Until today I have never set foot in Stanley Park in Blackpool. It is one of many large public parks located across the UK that were funded and built approximately 100 years or so ago.

We drove up that way today and took the little one and with temperatures over 20 degrees C it was a great afternoon out. If anyone here on the forum is new to the Northwest of England then it is a great park (kids or no kids).

I was amazed how big the park is overall.
