    1. I don’t understand why it’s asking you to supply a naric letter when you have the IELTS certificate. Perhaps you put on YES on the form where it says, does she have a degree taught in English? The form generates a rough checklist at the end on what you should provide based on your answers.

    2. Everything is now done online that’s why it’s telling you to submit her documents online. Now I am not sure where you upload it, but I assume it will be with the VFS website, go and have a look on there. I would’ve thought when you paid for your application you will be given a link where you have to scan and upload your documents?

    3. The IELTS should be fine coz it’s valid for 2 years.

You should have put ‘NO’ on that question.

To be honest with you, I don’t know what to suggest on your situation. I would be tempted to say just carry on with the situation and explain in a cover letter that it was a genuine mistake saying Yes to that question about her degree or for peace of mind you can cancel your application and go through it again, it’s all up to you but I wish you the best.

Colin from your original post you say you have paid for the application, is this correct? If so there are 2 things you can do.
1 cancel the application, claim a refund and complete another application and pay again
2nd question you say she has an elts certificate what grade is it? And did she sit the test?
Her degree, you have made a genuine mistake it happens! As @Brom27 suggests explain it in a cover note.

Note when I did my wife's leave to remain follwing on from her spouse visa had expired they asked for her daughter's biological father's birth certificate ( they didn't ask first time)
I put at the very front of her pack
ECO please note" the system has asked for miss j father's birth certificate we don't have it as her father passed away in 2005 it's now 2018 we do not see her father's family anymore and are unable to obtain it. By the way we have supplied his death certificate
Further I note the system didn't as for it first time round on the spouse application or indeed Miss J dependent visa application
( all 3 have been successful)
A cover letter is the way I would proceed as long as she got her Ielts through examination

No idea on the refund timetable sorry!
The degree will have no bearing on the application as it's not a requirement!
As I say you've made a simple error explain it away and press on.
I haven't done the new process as our applications were pre October 2018 bit have you ran a hard copy of the application
