Be carefull what you wish for

The rules for citizens can be rewritten at a whim, we should not let go of the centuries of legal protections that predate them

"The move to strip Shamima Begum of her citizenship follows the same racist logic as those laws (the Labour leader Hugh Gaitskell called the 1962 Commonwealth Immigrants Act “cruel and brutal anti-colour legislation”). The government claims that Begum is eligible for Bangladeshi citizenship, and therefore to remove her British citizenship would not render her stateless (which is illegal under international law). It was Theresa May who, as home secretary, made repeated and systemic efforts to route around this law, but was forced to settle on the wording of the 2014 Immigration Act, which allowed her to render British citizens effectively stateless provided a claim could be made to their eligibility for citizenship elsewhere."

I'll tell you what I wish for and so doing requires absolutely no care on my part. :like:

I wish that the leadership of what remains of the Labour Party supported the normal law-abiding citizens of this country and not terrorists, terrorist organisations or her enemies. Corbyn and his communist cabal are a toxic stain :poop::poop: on the political landscape.

As a glance in a mirror will confirm, it's an ostrich you see, not a squirrel.

    Blame the parents.
Some are already blaming Javid for callous decision not to allow them into the UK, (Good decision) but some of those blaming him should look at getting their own house in order eh mayor of London.

I think she made a bad decision travelling out to support these terrorists, once she done that she gave up all right's of returning to the UK, however very sad the child has died.

Sorry but I got his name wrong above..It`s Aidan James.

A British man who fought against so-called Islamic State in Syria has been charged with three terror offences.

Aidan James, a father-of-one from Formby, Merseyside, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday.

The 27-year-old had been fighting alongside the YPG Kurdish militia.

He has been charged with one count of the preparation of acts of terrorism and two counts of attendance at a place used for terrorist training.

The court heard that Mr James left the UK on 26 August 2017, travelling to Iraq via Jordan.

He later travelled to Syria, the court was told.

Mr James was arrested on his return to the UK at Liverpool Airport on 14 February.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey for a plea hearing on 1 March.

Man is a big time Hero in my book.. Should get a free house and a pension for life instead of being banged up in Belmarsh prison for "acts of terrorism " with British muslim extremists.

Just curious. I'm entitled to Irish citizenship similar to how this girl is entitled to Bangladeshi citizenship.

If I turned rogue and went fighting for ISIS, Al Qaeda or whomever, would people demand I am deported to Ireland instead?

I tell what I think should happen..I think that any British traitor fighting for ISIS should be DRAGGED back, humiliated, lined up against a wall or tied to wooden post and shot directly through the nut.
    Job done,problem solved.
What the Irish,EU type people do is none of my concern.

One would hope for a consistent view that anyone going to fight for terrorist groups like isis is stripped of British citizenship.
As the 2 sisters who have raised their ugly heads may find out.
It smacks of "when the going gets tough, let's just go back to soft hearted UK,"
    Time to man up!

Is that what you would wish?

Boots' wish for summary justice was bad enough, your suggestion is as depraved as it is outrageously disgusting. If you want to post such vile musings, do so elsewhere and not on a publicly-accessible section of a family-friendly forum.

Whippy was banned for lesser crimes.

The poll at the top of the page suggests she isn't the most popular of people, 87.5% think she shouldn't be allowed to return :)
