Strong language at the start of the clip

On what was a good day for Manchester United on the field and for Fred who played well, events off the field sparked by a few mindless yobs marred the game.

Some of the City players could of shown "stamp it out"solidarity but failed

Arrests have been made and hopefully lifetime bans for the culprits.

Video unavailable. EPL have blocked it. Read it, online papers. Stupid mindless racist yobs. Lifetime ban is in order.

Video can be found all over Twitter. His employer, Kier Group, also had their page bombarded.

Interestingly, the Facebook feed for the guy in question (Anthony Burke) had, amongst other things, "Squaddies against Corbyn" and "Brexit - Liberate Britain" plastered all over it. What a shock.

Chelsea FC appear to be on the receiving end of homophobic abuse from a minority first at West Ham and then this weekend at Everton.

    Sadly yes,
I see s few more clubs are now getting negitve press on the subject.
The guy at City ( Burke) rather apt name claims he was pitting his hands in his pockets!

It is a societal issue that has been exacerbated by the political situation in the UK.

Former world class footballer and renowned pundit, Gary Neville, saw fit to comment similarly in a segment on Sky Sports (not Sky News).
