    Isn’t life a bitch?

    Isn’t life unfair?

    Me here at last unemployed,

    You needing care –

    Do we vote for Farage?

    There’s too many Poles here,

    There’s too many Slavs.

We need a party that doesn’t

    Do things by halves,

    That’s happy to oblige –

    Should we vote for Nige?

    Just when I started

    Believing the Tories,

Thinking their stuff about voting on Europe

    Wasn’t…fairy stories,

    Mr Cameron shifts the goalposts

    To Twenty-sixteen.

    It gives me the pip.

    Should I join Ukip?

    But Nige’s such an arse.

    Such a beer-swilling twit.

Whoever portrayed him as Toad of Toad Hall

    Scored a palpable hit.

    And who’s his entourage?

Are his cabinet, by and large,

    All as bad as Farage?

    I’m tired of the Tories,

    Their Etonian orgies,

And I’ve had it right up to here

    With Georgie bloody Porgy.

But could I live with myself

If I spent just an hour

    In the company of Ukip’s

    Fascistic shower?

    Gosh, that was close.

    I can’t deny,

    I lost my moral compass

For the wink of an eye.

    But now I’m revived.

It was all a mirage –

    Goodbye Nigel Farage.

    Woodbridge local election results:

42% turnout ( average is 34%, so high)

Libdems got back with c. 1,300

    Tories got c. 1,100

    UKIP 300 and odd

    Labour 200

As a card carrying Libdem, thanks, UKIP!

Actually UKIP probably took from all three other parties.

I understand that the Malay word for ****** is 'farage'. Seems appropriate.

Mr Rafferty was from my home town and went to the same school as me, I shared a class with his younger cousin Mark, Rafferty though was many years older than us.

He was a socialist through and through and I suspect were he still alive he would be like many Scots more than happy to remain in the EU.

So why are you digging up old threads populated with messages from people who can't reply to you?

Point of order: there is only one contributor to this thread who is unable to reply, everyone else can. :like:

Andrew is unlikely to check in or to monitor anything on this forum now, Bob Couttie certainly still appears to be alive and appears to be working for a Radio station in Cambodia so technically yes they could but given they have not checked in for a very long time they won't.

Your software displayed thread suggestions as an appropriate place to post the content..
I agreed with it in this instance.

Nah we should probably lock a lot of the older threads.

Not my software, simply the software this forum runs on.

As a developer the term 'your software' and my interpretation 'my software' have special meaning, I didn't write this, we simply use it.

OK.. If you are in "charge" of it and you don`t like it, tell it to stop.
Much better to do that than charging well established members of "dragging up" old threads!
