Hi. I`m Robbie and i`m new here ,recommended by a friend.

I have been in a relationship for 4 years with my beautiful Filipino Fiancee.
As i`m sure that lots of you will know. I have spent a lot of time and money bringing my lovely Fiancee here to the UK to marry me. The big day is here at last soon. Hooray!!!

I would like to ask a question to all you guys out there if that`s OK?

Once Married she has to apply for Further leave to remain M.
She currently has a six month visa to marry me,and i would like to ask if anyone knows about the following?
While we are applying for FLR M. Postal or online application. Can she remain here in the UK with me beyond her Visa six months, while we are awaiting the decision for the FLR?
I would be so thankful for any feedback to this Question.
    Many Thanks.

    Robbie.

If your married before the the 6 months is up on the fiancée visa, and have applied for the FLR(m) before the expiry of fiancée visa then she can stay here while you wait in the decision.
Your application for flr is similar to fiancée visa just adding the marriage certificate and fed pics of the wedding, and updated financial documents. So long as everything is still the same then no stress on getting flr. Just be sure to be just as strict in submitting all requirements as you were for fiancée visa.

I'm in the same boat. Visa was valid until 14th November. FLR submitted on 12th, biometrics on 13th. Didn't plan it this way, but medical reasons delayed the wedding. Everything I've read suggests this is fine, so not unduly worried.

Miss R would be gutted if she was booted out of the country before she has seen real snow for the first time!

    Hi Robbie
As others have said it's ok to stay while you wait for a decision her immigration will stay the same, keyword is the "same"

    Yes.

She can be here, but cannot work until the updated status is granted. Some people see it as worth doing an "on the day" for the first FLR(M) for this reason.
