Today, I was supposed to walk my Daughter down the ailse and give her away.

Due to the circumstances we are all facing, this has now, been post-poned until next april.
I feel terribly disappointed and bitter, but mainly for her.
Yesterday, I had news from Directline Flights that they will apply to Easyjet for a full refund, but I am not really sure it is going to happen anytime soon, if at all..

But in the meantime I can keep following my diet and try to loose some more weight, but it is difficult being in lock-down and her indoors getting food ready every time her mood takes her...
My plan seems to have been shelved... The less I take, the more she piles on my plate....

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've lost a bit of weight, the vitamin D I am taking seems to suppress my appetite :)

    Thank you. :)

By now I should have feasted on Scallops as a starter, Beef Wellington, and chocolate fondant, all washed down by copious amounts of wine... Gone through a speech and a toast that has been rehearsed ad nauseam, danced with the bride and at the same time tried to translate everything going on to my brother and his wife that would have flown all the way from Eyetiely to be at my princess'es special day.......

Well.. The new shoes are back in the box, my new blue suit and matching waist coat are back in the suit-bag, with my, Scottish, tweed neck tie...

Next year, I will probably drive down to Poole and catch a ferry over to Jersey, so I could be able to take the Italian contingent around the place, and maybe bring over to Wales for a short break.
Snowdonia is a real gem this time of year

That is such a shame but you and your family are well and that's the most important thing :)
