Prince Andrew was accused in court documents of touching a young woman’s breast at the Manhattan mansion of Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy financier now facing federal sex trafficking charges in New York.

The allegation was contained within a tranche of just unsealed court papers in a defamation case involving Ghislaine Maxwell, a British socialite and media heiress accused of procuring underage girls for Epstein and his social circle of the rich, famous and powerful.

I have met Prince Andrew. He used to come into our local pub, with friends, when he was doing his pilot training.

He seemed like a nice guy.

I'm sure we are all sensible enough to give those allegations in the press the attention merited.

The Miami Herald exposed a vast criminal network and a government cover-up – but why the silence elsewhere?

When Julie K Brown of the Miami Herald approached a former police chief of Palm Beach, Florida, in 2017, hoping to get him to open up about his investigation of the child sex crimes for which the wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein had been fleetingly jailed a decade earlier, she was surprised by how unresponsive he was

Michael Reiter told Brown he had been down this road many times and was sick of it. As Brown recalled in a WNYC interview last month, Reiter said he had talked to many reporters and told them precisely where to find damning evidence against Epstein. But nothing ever came of it.

“He was convinced that a lot of media had squashed the story and he was fed up,” she said.

Reiter warned Brown what would happen were she to continue digging: “Somebody’s going to call your publisher and the next thing you know you are going to be assigned to the obituaries department.”

    One interesting question would be

What was Andrew doing chatting with Epstien outdoors(a convicted sex offender) two years after his conviction?

Well the Princes castle is really tumbling now!
Could he be stripped of his royal perogitves and end up a lonely soiled family member.

    Because he made a mistake.
Why would any "royal" (I am a republican btw) fraternise with a known paedophile?

    fraternize
    verb: fraternise
    1. associate or form a friendship with someone, especially when one is not supposed to.

Epstein dead (looks like murder), Ghislane Maxwell convicted and in jail.
    Andrew still hiding.
This sorry set of circumstances will still run on and on.
What happened to the videos filmed in all of Epstein's locations?

Even as young men, my group of friends always knew to be very careful with young girls i.e. stay clear.
Andrew has not been charged with any crime but his silence is deafening.

So many witnesses have attested to his philandering with underage girls.
The member who said he "seemed like a nice guy" is now banned but everyone knows how easy it is to have two faces, one nice and the other..........?.

Wasn't the UK supposed to have an investigation into sex irregularities in high places.
It wasn't a shock to find out that nothing happened :frust:
