Just another question I didn't want to open an additional thread.

My salary for the last 8/9 months was paid into Monzo then starling bank. Monzo said that they would send me official statements that are accepted. I have received the statements and they look as if I had printed them? Or is it the barcode and number on the left that makes it official?

Also, do I need to scan every single page? Thanks

Unless its all changed..yet again..the IHS surcharge only applies to spouse visas and FLR...not a fiancee visa which is only for up to six months. Do you think you may have selected settlement /spouse instead of settlement / marriage...which is the fiancee visa.

My bad I was quoting spouse haha. Did you see the statement photo I have above? Monzo reckon it's official and accepted for visa applications

settlement : settlement /marriage. Thats what you must select for a fiancee visa. Have you paid the fee yet?

Phew..yes..scrap it and go right back to the account and start a fresh application. You cannot change the category of the one youve done.

nothing. you havent paid--so it will stay inactive on the account. just to reassure you--i made the same mistake twice--so i did 3 applications ! in fact--i copied and pasted a lot of the answers across.

you may well find there will be some different questions on the new fiancee application---so take your time and get it right. does your lady have access to the account ?

now--the IHS surcharge will be payable when you do the first of 2 FLR apps----after youre married and then 30 months later. the surcharge is now TWO lots of £1000 each time. this is on top of the FLR fee--which is just over £1000. so a lot to pay in that first 6 months she is here.
