Kuya could we have a Photo section next to the Video bit? I'm a lousy videographer but I'm an ok photographer (worked in the industry in a previous life). Maybe a European Photography sub section as well? Possibly like this :- Photography -Europe -Philippines -World
9 years cruising worth of photographs gone up in smoke a few years ago. That was due to my ex's stupidity and negligence, and to top it all, she was more worried for her bloody cats than our son asleep inside the house....
I have now added a photo gallery to the site You will see it on the top nav tab, just to the right of "what's New?" So far the only photo album there is from Dom, so get uploading...
Ah sorry Kuya, not quite what I was thinking, a photo gallery will use up a lot of space on your servers. Most of my content is on Flickr I usually just post links to my published photos same idea as hosting video content on youtube. I'll try and pick some shots to upload to a gallery though.
Sorry to hear that Dom I'm in the process of scanning a few thousand family photos from my childhood, a task that is long overdue, doing it so my kids will be able to look back and have a sense of the history of where they came from.
I see what you mean... Though the members gallery was always rolling round my head with a "Hmmmmm" to it. I will add a photo forum for you and anyone else.. I also have a Picassa with my photographs on it, I won't bother sub dividing it though, unless it gets too popular in future, which I doubt, but you never know...
My son got me one of those thingymejigs that turns negatives into digital, last Christmas... Top of the range apparently... Still in the box, haven't even attempted to use it yet, I have no end of 8mm camcorder tape that needs transferring to disk, but the charges for that around here make it nearly impossible to contemplate.
