Don't know but one of his charges is money laundering so I guess some illicit cash is paying for those bricks and mortar.

The only bricks and mortar he will be seeing now and for a very long time will be from behind bars!

If found guilty POCA will strip his assets to the bone, though I suspect that's the least of his current problems, his twins were due to be born this weekend.

That wouldn't buy you a 300 grand house (at age 25) though, would it ?

I earned more than that before I retired, and would have struggled to even get back into the housing market at all these days...as a single earner.

    I merely answered a question.
But at 25 a £300000 house makes you wonder.

I know a lad who is moving into a brand new house today he's on the lower number and his wife as a teacher will possibly be on slightly less, they spent 200,000 with a ten grand deposit so it would appear that they got the standard 3 and bit multiplier on combined earnings.

A couple on say 40 grand each could likely get a 300 grand house with a 20 grand deposit and about a 3.5 times multiplier of joint earnings, wouldn't be easy but it's not impossible.

i dont think that 3.5 multiplier applies anymore--in these days of very low mortgage interest rates.

I wish I had known, instead of a costly medicine degree my son could have taken a truck driving course for a good future :)
However........ Knowing life and people in general my money says Maurice has been naughty ;)

My guess is Mo is what is commonly known as a tramper or roamer and probably spends all week away in his cab (no fun at all) been there done that got the t shirt, many of the drivers I now see in my role would prefer day jobs! your son is better placed with a medical degree

Unfortunately, it is not deterrent enough for a complete stop to this abhorrent trafficking.

And sincerely, I don't know what it would be
