    Hi All,

We've had a nightmare of a time trying to link the passport to the evisa. After 4 attempts trying to add the passport, we couldn't get them approved as the name was different to the original BRP card, it wasn't. Phoning various numbers to UKVI for help we finally found out the problem, the names are written exactly the same on both except the middle name isn't on the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) part of the passport. Bearing in mind, it's taken weeks to sort, we were told to ring them back and we would be guided though the process on how to fill the online form out to rectify the problem. We've now been told it can't be sorted online we have to physically send the passport/paperwork to them and as we are leaving to visit family in the Philippines soon (26th of this month) to do this when we get back.
They gave us a number for boarder force to let us know the alternatives to the evisa, which is a premium no. and for some reason even with extra credit on my phone won't let me phone it, we're seriously stressed.

My beloved is on a FLRM extension, has her old BRP card (exp Dec 2024), Share Code and N.I number she has also completed the life in the UK test so they have a lot of info on her record.

Our worry is we won't be allowed to board the flight from/to the UK even with this proof as the evisa hasn't got her passport updated on it.

Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance:)

This link mayou will be ok!y help https://www.gov.uk/evisa/travel-with-evisa, suggests if you have your passport and share code with you, although you might get held up once Border Agency can check your share code and passport you will be ok.

Thanks for the responses, you spurred me on, and you were right, managed to finally get hold of someone, starting at the E-visa webchat bot service. Eventually put through to a real person, Rob, he said the same as you, bring all your documents and explain the situation of being told to send the passport to rectify the problem after the trip. If the carrier has a problem, tell them to phone the Boarder Force Hub.
Fingers crossed we'll be on the plane on Sunday!
Many thanks again really appreciated the help:)
