Some have Grandchildren strapped to their backs whilst they plant rice, others in fish markets selling fish and small % living in the U.S or UK plotting how to get home for retirement years to eat Thai Fish n Rice happily till they die.

That's just shattered fond memories :( do you remember the girls with big bouffant hairstyles in del pilar street, most of them were a bit older than me when I first went there in the middle of a brown-out and stumbled into rosies diner

We were running a Brit Bakery in Padre Faura and a Manicure Pedicure shop next to Go Go Romeos on MH Del Pilar long, long before Rosies Diner ever existed..
Funny thing was a Flash Aussie named Micheal Jackson bought Go Go Romeo`s and called it Thriller!
I might be wrong but I think Rosies Diner was in the same spot as Raymonds fast food when we were in business there.
    I could be wrong!

The girls used to come in our Manicure shop and ask me to escort them to a very posh hotel in Roxas Boulevard on the coast..(disco night) They needed me as a young good looking white guy to get them in..
The deal was, once in,they would hunt rich Arabs and buy me beer all night.
    How could I refuse?

Edit: Hotel was called The Philippine Plaza.

Another reply looking at the negative side of life, where this poster seems to inhabit :(
Some of these ladies could be very happily married and having a wonderful life with their children or even grandchildren and the thought of dying is the last thing on their minds :like:

My favourite dance to watch, the Zaouli from Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa.
The noise, the commotion, the dance, the fun.
    Once seen, never forgotten.

Dance music around the world often substituted it's own sounds:
