Hello. We will be submitting documents next week for my daughter. Can someone please explain to me if my understanding is correct:

That we can submit documents in London Wilson St address if we are to submit on 22 or 24 April 2019? or

We can only submit docs to any vf office mentioned below after 15 March 2019?

The wording "From" then date is a little confusing to understand. I read somewhere here that they were able to submit docs last week in London so my assumption is we can also go to London office next week.

Anyone who has experience it and can explain it to me will be very appreciated. We are on the final stage now and we don't want to miss or waste any single day just because we misunderstood instruction wrongly.

Thank you very much as always for your help and God bless .

The way I read that is that you can submit from those extra places after those dates

So London and Birmingham after the 1st March
After the 8th you have a choice of the above and Belfast and Leicester and so on for the 15th onwards

So yes on 22-24 April you can in any one of those offices

@Mattecube I cannot find the button to upload. I even called home office and paid £1 something per minute and he only said to register to vfs and then look for supporting documents guidelines. If you know, can you please provide me the link. We prefer to upload at home but I really cant find the link.

Thanks @ras911 . I found the thread from @David saying that he's just been to London office.

Does this means that we can go to London Wilson St next week to submit documents. This is why we found the wordings in the instruction confusing. I appreciate everyone's help please.

The 'Wilson Street' (& Birmingham) office is open FROM 1st March - so any date from then you can use that office... They appear to be opening new offices in different areas over a period of time - so once an office is open, you can go there any time after the opening date (I guess you need to make an appointment!)

@Mattecube @bigmac We live in London. It will be tricky to just try because we have filed a one day leave in the office as well as we want to submit all docs as early as possible. The ticket to Cardiff will cost us £80 plus return (per person) whereas in London we will only use our travel card. So cost and time issue is a problem that's why we want to be sure as early as now in case we need to book Cardiff ticket or not.

As for Sopra, we prefer to upload documents online and this is free but is this legit? And may I request for the correct link. Has anyone here done the uploading via Sopra?

It is a legitimate operation, and free and probably best option and certainly beats travel costs.

    There are now 3 options
Self scan using the Sopra site
    Use Main offices as listed
    Use local offices as listed.

seems the goal posts have got up and left.

Isn't this free service? I take it we need to register the site and look for services. Has anyone here done the uploading to sopra?

    humour me:

do sopra steria handle flr / ilr sponsor docs-?
do vfs handle spouse /fiancee visa sponor docs-?
is it the other way round ? or neither correct ?

Yes I did for FLR M
But only BRP and Passports as I am self employed and was not going to scan 200+ pages one by one
So we went instead to Croydon Sopra site and they scanned them in
They still have to check them anyway before they submit the application

Think Sopra got the full contract of dealing with visa applications

    Incorrect
If you use the Sopra site to scan( which they recomend) see link I have just posted and it is free service.
There are then the main centres opened or due to open London Belfast etc
There are then more localised ones for example as I responded to you on another post for you if you didn't want to scan at home rather than travel to London then Southampton or Bournemouth local centres would be an option.
The goalposts have stayed the same it's the players!
