Hi! Its my first time joining a forum like this. My curiousity brought me here while I was on google looking for answers . First of all I am a 30 year old Filipina married to a brit. We're actually looking for some advice on what to do about registering our daughter at the embassy because I read it somewhere that she is a British citizen even though she was born here. I am clueless I hope I would be able to get some advice from people who are in the same boat with us. Any information would be highly appreciated.

    Hi DJones,
    :welcome: here.

Sorry, cannot answer your question - our two kids were born in the UK.

Recommendation is to get child's British passport first. Don't have to register to get a passport. At least one member of board recently got passport and sure he wrote up what he did although think he was based in UK so probably easier from here.

Not cheap to register and quite a lot of documents required.
