I live in between Wolverhampton and Birmingham (someone has to ;)) over this past week these mobile Burger vans have begun appearing almost everywhere that their seems to be a queue, Aldi Netherton, Aldi Brierley Hill, Mcdo by Junction 2 M5, another one where a cafe is closed due to Covid 19, their is a car wash opposite where i live, and looking out of the window another Burger van has set up there this morning, i will give it one day because there is not much footfall where they have parked up :D, plus its odds on the guy who runs/owns that Car wash will turn up at sometime today and for sure there will be an interesting discussion going on..
Have any of you guys had an invasion of burger vans recently ?.

No. But when I lived in the Isle of Man, mobile chippies were normal, during normal times. Good idea.

The one sited permanently in a pub's car park a few hundred yards from my place is shut, I am not sure wether it is for the virus or total lack of takers... pity, tho, tidy looking, with a "5" higiene rating.

I guess it must be something that only applies to this area then, we do have a couple of families that are whats politely termed Fairground people, and they seem to be multiplying almost annualy by buying up mid sized plots of land and putting their equipment and living accomodation on these plots.. i can think of at least 8 plots within a 2 mile radius of where i live, of course they have no means of earning a living at the moment due to the lockdown situation, no Fairs, No soccer games, no festivals, no markets so all the usual outlets for selling their fast food are closed. They do seem to make a very good living out of what they do, as the permanent accomodation, the mobile Caravans, the Lorries that Haul there fairground equipment dont come cheap, though i would guess they must have a heck of a yearly Tax bill ;), now how many Burgers did i sell today, and how many went on the Dodgems ? . :D

Lots of travellers near me, big yards, one guy has a huge driveway leading up to his house with the iron gates adorned with horse shoes and horses. Those cash-in-hand businesses are always good for washing ill gotten gains I suppose.
