Marriage Certificate Name

Hey All,

As you are probably aware Philippines always uses both parents surnames in the names.

On my marriage certificate they have me as Newton Jones when it should be Newton as they have done it the Filipino way.

Will this affect the application at all? I'm just thinking of every little detail before i submit

Good question! To be honest they didn't do that when I got married over there!
if your a Newton is Jones your mother's maiden name?

Yeah Jones is mother's maiden. It's got me worried, maybe I should include it in the cover letter or something

Use name as on passport if you have one.

In terms of worrying about it .......dont bother. As long as you fill in the application with the same information thats on your passport all will be fine.

Yeah application filled in same as passport. It was just the name they've put on our certificate
