We set off today to Legoland in Windsor. Unfortunately the weather somewhat fooled the forecasters and ourselves and turned out pretty disappointing. Which meant when we got to Windsor itself our first half day was spoilt completely.

Then we found ourselves holed up in Slough for the night (noted the signage for Dedworth along the way). A bit of a mistake, which was recompensed a little by a meal in Nando’s and a bag full of groceries purchased in the local Asian shop.

Fortunately our Legoland ticket is flexible so we shall use it on a better day.

Drinking water from the tap is fine here too. :D

My Mrs likes Nando’s, she likes it hot where I prefer the more mild. She thinks it’s closest to the roast spicy chicken she got in the phil.

We decided to go today. The day was overcast but with no rain.

If you have children from 3 to 4 upwards to 10/11 then this is a good place to go. It is popular which is it’s drawback. So the time between rides can be lengthy, i.e. the queues.

Two of the rides we went on freaked my wife out a bit. :D But the little one enjoyed them both.

I cannot keep my wife out of Nando’s! Or KFC either.

And yes my wife says the same. Closest to the real deal back home.

We've just been to Legoland 3 weeks ago. Our friends have Merlin passes so we are 50% off and it got better when we got there as it's 'Bring a friend day'. So we ended up just paying £5 each. The weather was on our side too. The only downside was my daughter didn't get on a lot of rides because she's not quite 90 cm yet. The waterpark was the favourite bit. Taking swimming costumes is handy! :like:

They are pretty strict with that 90cm ruling. I saw lots of kids being turned away that had got to the front of the queue which, was tough. @HaloHalo

We found the water park. And it was good, yes.

It was the Viking River Ride and Dragon Ride that my wife didn’t enjoy too much. :D
