No expert but when mine goes I fiddle with the settings:
Try clicking on the TV Box picture next to the loudspeaker...
Then click on Networking and Internet Settings
Then click on Change adapter options
Look for the connection that starts "Ethernet..."
Right click on it and disable it
Look for the connection that starts "Wifi..."
Try to connect or disconnect (picking the right Wifi name) ...

If that doesn't work, while Wifi connection is still selected (shaded in blue) try clicking on the Diagnose this connection option
    Should run the Troubleshooter...

If it connects then you can just unplug the ethernet cable and should be ok.

If it doesn't select the Ethernet connection and enable it again...

Next try clicking on the TV Box picture next to the loudspeaker again...
Right click on your Wifi connection and choose forget - make sure you have the password... to reconnect
    Unplug the ethernet connection
    Shut down your laptop
Wait 30 seconds and restart it
Try to reconnect to the Wifi... and input your password again

If that fails plug the Ethernet in again and have a beer or something.
