    I had a friend who had been apparently a priest in the movement, and he and his wife had left it. They were then ignored by their friends / family / children who were members of the JWs, because of that experience they did not want to get involved in any religion. So much for the JWs idea of love....... My friend unfortunately died of cancer.

    As for the blood - the NHS scandal about the infected blood that was given to haemophiliacs is the rotten result of government rationing on the nhs.

    just to clarify--the jw's dont have priests--or a clergy for that matter. but some devout MALES are appointed as elders. there are no positions of any responsibility for women, except possibly cleaning the toilets at the " kingdom halls"
