I have two gay friends and they are both in a relationship. They are very caring and loving. They were hurt many times but still remain so caring. They make me laugh too!!
I have a gay friend who works as a nurse at king’s college in london. Im not recommending him or anything just saying that they are not necessarily in ph. Some are actually here in the uk.
We have a gay friend..Filipino parents but born in the UK, in his early 30.'s..if you're on Facebook..send me a pm and Ill ask him to contact you.
I experienced the same whilst looking for a lady who was genuine. Im very fortunate to have found the love of my life but not without chatting to a good few who seem genuine until it goes on for a week or two and then the signs start. 'I have no load,I've lost my fone, I've lost my job, my mother is ill etc. I feel that if the lady or guy doesn't ask for anything then that tends to indicate they are genuine. My lady has never asked for anything. I have given and given gladly especially when I know she needs something. I would be very careful my friend, he maybe messaging half a dozen people with the same stories!
I would have thought your best chance would actually be philipinno guys living abroad already. The only other way would be to go visit.
I have a gay friend working in Scotland, a chemical engineer. If you want, I can start a group chat for both of you in fb so you can get to know each other.
