Ilr application date confusion ☹️ need clarification please

Hello all,

We are very confused about the timeframe for ILR application. We got married here in the UK. I physically arrived here in the UK 10 December 2016 on a fiancé visa. My question is do we count from the time I physically arrived or the date of issuance of my first brp???? Thanks in advance and very much appreciated your help.

Valid from date on first BRP.
