I notice there is yet another case of child sexual exploitation, this time in Huddersfield, at this moment 31 people have been charged with various offences, I notice that there is no-one with a good old British name of Smith, Jones or Oldroyd in amongst the names released..

This seems to be pretty prevalent amongst a certain community, and yes it needs to be brought out into the open, after all Boris and His Burkas receives plenty of publicity...

There is a real problem with the culture of the people from the Indian sub continent. Sex crimes in India pakistan are epidemic and most unreported because of the shame. We even see reports of revenge rape as satisfaction for rape, "honour served" believe it or not. This culture of sex offending is what we see in the same communities in the UK. I imagine its much worse amongst their own communities but hushed up.

I don't see what publicity this is lacking though. It always gets plenty of click bait for the islamophobes but this is not about islam though, which obviouly condemns such behaviour. This is about the Indian sub continent culture. Hindu, buddhist as well as islam.

I wonder how many of the accused were born here and if not, on what basis they gained access to the UK. I saw some data about citizenship success rates recently and a significant number were refused for being of "bad character"

Publicity on the paedophilia sex disease committed by all sectors of British society should be exposed for what it is but is sadly missing.
Personally,I believe that the problem is far too massive to be faced or exposed.
    Shocking state of affairs.

Its on the updated Times Front page now.

I think there is a wider problem with cultural clashing. Its one area I tend to be more conservative. I'm open to all cultures and identities but you have to respect our laws and cultures. If you cannot then why come? there's plenty of room in British society for differing identities but that must be behavioral expectations that are strongly enforced in law but also by the cultures themselves. I think the latter is lacking at the moment. Its also wrong to tar everyone with the same brush.

Some will continue to bury their heads in the sand, or sit around singing Kumbaya... so as not to offend. Meanwhile the 'natives' are silenced by recent legislation designed for that purpose, and government jobs are handed out to the 5th columnists.

Ok, I'll go. I can hear the screaming now.

It is cultural, pakistan its mainly male rapes.young boys india is girls,if you have ever been to either country you will understand why.Its not reported because both countries are culturally stone-age,lower cast girl raped by a couple of higher caste guys she cant exactly go report it to the cops, its india they wouldn't take her seriously, not at all, pakistan is worse,no-one gives a toss about the street kids, male rape is common.

I don't see how we can improve the protection of children from sexual abuse with such an under resourced system. We actually saw CEOPs disappear into the NCA in 2013. Child social services are on the edge and the lack of police on the streets takes away eyes, ears and links to communities that would help stop the abuse by the SE Asian sex gangs.

I have spent quite a bit of time in Pakistan,i am fairly observant, thats why it long-since ceased to surprise me at the large number of Asian grooming gangs that appear almost weekly certainly monthly before british courts of law.

"Updating the list to include more recent convictions that fit the same pattern, we find that there have been at least 27 similar cases in the last decade.

By date of conviction, we have evidence of such exploitation taking place in Keighley (2005 and 2013), Blackpool (2006), Oldham (2007 and 2008), Blackburn (2007, 2008 and 2009), Sheffield (2008), Manchester (2008 and 2013) Skipton (2009), Rochdale (two cases in 2010, one in 2012 and another in 2013), Nelson (2010), Preston (2010) Rotherham (2010) Derby (2010), Telford (2012), Bradford (2012), Ipswich (2013), Birmingham (2013), Oxford (2013), Barking (2013) and Peterborough (2013).

This is based on a trawl of news sources so is almost certainly incomplete."

That list ends 2014 we have had a lot more openness and transparency since then,no ones afraid to say it nowadays whereas even in 2014 some brushed it under the carpet for fear of cultural disturbance as I once saw it called.
