That escalation process is a complete nonsense. One of my friend who applied for Spouse visa (priority) as well is now on her 51 working day and still nothing.

They will never contact us even after the 15 working days from the escalation date. I just can't believe they have the guts to send that email and, on one of their email to me they even put it on bold letters saying "WE WILL CONTACT YOU WITHIN THE NEXT 15 WORKING DAYS" but they never did. Haha
I wish they have more integrity I don't really mind waiting anymore if only they will tell us the reason of the delay.
If only getting at least an update with them is more transparent it will be easier for all their applicants.

Good luck to us UKDJ and to others who are also waiting for the UKVI's judgment. I hope this will be over soon for all of us.

I don't 'blame' any legitimate applicant - EU or otherwise - the blame lies solely at the feet of those responsible for cutting the staff levels needed, to fulfil their hollow promises and worthless Customer Charter, all in the name of 'austerity'!

I'm smashing through 137 days now!
We are trying to get her passport back now so she can travel to Europe.
@shie1989 we went through many cycles of the 15 day period!
btw were you a OFW before?

I'm sorry to hear that that you've been waiting that long. Yeah second round of "useless" escalation.

I never worked overseas. I just travelled to Asia, lived in SG as student for a year. I also have a UK tourist visa which just expired last July. Like your application I think ours was pretty straightforward too. I don't know what's happening really.

I emailed them today for an update and they replied that a decision have been made. So nervous.

Just waiting for VFS text. I opted for pick up. I feel like I will faint anytime

    After 50 working days (priority).
Just waiting for my passport now and VFS text.

Fingers (and everything else) crossed for you @shie1989...
I don't know the timescales between 'decision made...' and picking up your passport, but my Fiancée chose courier return and there was about 14 hours between the text and delivery of her passport! Pretty impressive...
She received an email from VFS, 4 DAYS AFTER receiving her passport, telling her the application had been processed (or words to that effect) - not quite so impressive!

Meanwhile... back in the trenches. Has anyone taken them to court for costs? I wonder if I would have a case seeing as they lost the biometrics and we waited a month before they found out and another month before they could take them again.

Nice. I hope we can meet you guys. Yey.

My future father in law was born and raised in Isle of Wright. I didn't have a chance to go there last March because of the weather. But we'll definitely visit there soon to see some family of my fiancè.

Asking for a friend she applied FV.
Her fiancè is under category A.
They did not include any P60 will that cause a problem?

They met the financial threshold and the guy works in the company for five years..

    Any insight will help

    Thank you guys

    xxx
