    Hello please need your.advice....

Been married 3 years and visited uk a number of times on a visit visa.

The next year or two we will be returning to the uk and will be applying spouse visa. Once I arrived in uk do I have to stay in the country? or Am I allowed to travel to visits friends abroad.

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards.

you cannot apply for a spouse visa from within the UK--so you will have to apply from where you usually live. once you have your spouse settlement visa--you can come and go as you please.

do bear in mind--your partner will be your sponsor--and has to meet certain financial requirements--and have somewhere suitable for you to live.

You are allowed to be outside of the UK for up to 180 days in any given year for the ILR application, but you cannot be outside of the UK for more than 90days in any 12-month period in the fiveyears preceding your naturalisation application.20 Jul 2017
