Hi all, Everything's going great so far! She had a shock with the insane winter we had but at last she's enjoying the sunshine. We have a question on holidays however, we would like to take a trip or two each year for a few weeks lang to the Philippines. What documentation do we need (if any?) for re-entering the UK? We have her BRP card and her passport has the original spouse entry visa but that's all. Thanks
Just her passport when entering ph then the brp when entering the uk. Because im paranoid (and changed my passport), i also brought the old passport that contained the cfo sticker - just in case i was asked. But it wasnt needed.
Hi, just a quick question: I have a spouse-BRP card and will be visiting the Philippines very soon. I'm wondering if your wife/partner has had any issues leaving the Philippines even if she has a BRP card? Would be interesting to know, particularly that I couldn't find any information elsewhere. Thanks!
Hi and happy new year to you all I haven't been on here for a while, I was so relieved when we got my wife's spouse visa just the thought of that word made me scared haha. Anyway, I can't find the answer here or on the gov website but does the spouse visa need to have a minimum time remaining if we were to go to the Philippines? I know passports can need six months validity for some countries.
If your wifes passport is in her maiden name carry the marriage certificate around with her passport and BRP card.
Hi just a question.. Incase spouse visa has been approved. And then after a month coming in the UK and having the spouse visa, then we're planning to go back again in the philippines for 3 weeks just for vacation. Is't alright? Just worried in case it may affect the 30months staying before applying for extension in the future.
