We had a wonderful holiday in Sicily, Italy. We were in Siracusa, where my husband was born. I fell in love :vhappy: with this town- so lovely! I enjoyed going to the beach and went to karaoke as well. I love the historical views and buildings. If you want a perfect summer holiday, Sicily is the place to be!!! The people are so warm, the food is, hmmm... you would forget your name!:vhappy: I like the gelato (ice cream) ricotta (where you can find only in Sicily) flavor the most and pistaschio. The weather is perfect! (if you want to get tanned) The temperature in the summer is 33'C-42'C whle, the average temperature in my country the Philippines is 32'C-33'C. So the heat of the sun is so intense but it's windy though!
Yes, Kuya we had a great time! I recommend Sicily if you want to have a perfect summer! I recommend my country-Philippines too, if you want a longer summer hahaha....
I enjoyed looking at the pictures, and yes, I do agree that Sicily does make a fantastic holiday destination. You both seem to have enjoyed yourselves tremendously and hope that more photos may be posted for the benefit of all. Did you have any hold ups at Immigration...???
Fortunately, no any hold up at the Immigration because my husband was with me and said that I was his wife. The man on the counter was very friendly and even talked about his fantastic holiday he had had in Sicily too. He even suggested that we could buy arancini in Westfield.
Great pictures. (My wife wouldnt post her bikini pics on a forum. And she would probably go bananas if I put them on. ) We visited Portugal a few months ago, which was great for us both to spend a bit of time in a climate and setting that is closer to the Philippines than the UK. The food looks great. There are some great ice cream parlours in Portugal too.
