    Hello everyone.
I live in the UK and my girlfriend lives in the Philippines.
We’ve had some wonderful adventures in the Philippines together the past two years.
We hope to be together soon, possibly in the UK.
Looking to get some advice, guidance and hear about others experiences here.

    hello--welcome to the forum.

you need to be married..or get married within 6 months of her arrival here. she will need a settlement visa. there are strict criteria you--as her sponsor--need to meet.

Thanks for the replies. Really appreciated.
Our situation has an initial complication. We need some advice on annulment of marriage first.
My girlfriend married a Filipino a few years back and separated not long after. So the first hurdle is annulment. Also the marriage was in Manila so I understand unlike some of the provinces will take some time.
We’re hoping that the things in our favour are that there were no children and the relationship didn’t last long.
So the first bit of good advice we need relate to finding a really good annulment lawyer in Manila.
    Thanks

I can help you and refer you to my lawyer who did my annulment, he is my first cousin from my father side. We started filling amd processing 2016 , granted 2018 December , . And after that i filed it myself through the statistics office from where i was got married .

my wife got her annulment from her previous husband in 2015. whatever you do--dont let your girlfriend let on to her lawyer there is a british man in her future life. It will add an extra 0 to the bill. All the players on the legal stage will have their hands in your pocket.
