The message below is from Kevins Dad to the Yahoo group.. I find it incredible that this is how the court has delayed the outcome for nearly 3 years now!!.. Any court in the west would have thrown it out 2 1/2 years ago... Damned disgrace!

Hello to everyone . Had a talk with Kevin today as we do each week to catch up with the news .Well its bad bad news , would you beleave that the case been put back to
MARCH the 7 and 11th .The reason for this is the PROSECUTOR again did not have his notes / paper work ready . Its beggars belief ,whatl the judge
playing at with peoples lives stuck in that hell hole.As you would expect Kevin is at a all time low . I thank god that we have you guys that keeps our
    hopes up.

Regards thanks again Gerald / Mary

This beggars belief. How can the judge not throw the case out when its apparent the prosecutor is an incompetant f***wit?! Prehaps he's just waiting to be offered a hand out by the rich forignors to help the process along! I'm quite angry now

This has been the same story for the last three years... All the prosecution have to do is forget where their notes are and Kevin and Charline are locked up for another 4 months..
Both should have been free at least three years ago!

Kevin and Charlene Taylor Chronology (composed by the long standing Yahoo group..

Preamble: This document has been compiled in an attempt to gain some clarity and answer some questions which have been raised across the expatriate groups showing current interest in this case. No inference is intended in this document. It attempts to set out a chronology of events surrounding the business operation of the Taylor’s, their arrest and subsequent detention. It has been compiled from a number of publicly available sources (listed at the end) and in general paraphrases the information found at these sources for ease of reading. Sometimes where a more detailed account for clarity was required, tracts have been reproduced in there entirety.

In the main this information has come from the Taylor’s or their family. No documents have been found which give an alternative accounts and searches on the names of the principle accusers only appear to bring up the sources already used as their names appear in them.

Other accounts may be available and if provided with the source shown, whether they agree or conflict with the comments and statements made here, they will be included in any update.

Sept 2008 Taylor's Visa and Travel Consultancy was established in September 2008. The sole proprietor is Charlene Caballes. Aka Charlene Tambago (I believe this is her maiden name). Aka Charlene Taylor. Charlene was the live in partner of Kevin Taylor a Briton who lived in the Philippines with Charlene with whom he had three children

November 2008 Ms. Rosemarie Jimenez (40yo) a friend of Charlene’s from a former job, was hired as a Documentation Manager. Her role included documentation, processing and interviewing clients. After three months, Marie asked if Charlene would hire her sister Helen Damasco as a receptionist. She was duly hired and her duties included assessing client needs and explaining Taylor’s services to clients.

March 2009 new staff were hired after financial irregularities were found. Mary Garce was hired as a Finance Officer in charge of checking the money, cashier, paying taxes, SSS and other financial transactions at the office
    The alleged irregularities included:

This was one of the last letters from Kevin.. Cant remember how long ago he wrote this.. Other letters on the Yahoo group files if you have time to read them..

What Kuya and all of the British-Filipino members have achieved here on this forum is wonderful and rare.... I commend you all for your continued empathy and compassion and my respect for what you are doing is immense.

    Cheers,

    Januarius.

The point of this thread is mainly to get this case a little more of an imprint on the internet than it has right now. Though it is also a pleasure to raise some much needed money too, I know it will come in handy this weeked.

Slight change of plans by the way... I am going to transfer the money directly into Gerald Taylors bank account instead of letting Paypal take another slice. I will post all the details of how much and what not this weekend.

    4 Days to GO!

I have the greatest respect for all those folks who have stepped up to the mark and made an impact in this.

I'm not wanting to raise the same old questions again, just stating my feelings.

I cannot for the life of me get my head around the fact that the British Embassy have not made any contribution/intervention.
    I find it disgraceful.
I understand that the Embassy has to tread carefully in connection with local laws, but surely this treatment of British Nationals goes against all that basic rights stand for.
Surely the British Embassy must have done something.?

Yes quite. Recent history shows that were the Taylors to hold Norwegian citizenship, this case would have been over years ago. The Norwegian Government is not afraid to come to the aid of its citizens.

    We are almost done!!

So far we have raised £292.00. Sadly Paypal takes a slice so it is down by £12.82 to £279.18.. Here is a screen shot of the donations we have had so far (still open till tomorrow). I have transferred that money into my bank account and I have added £100 to it as promised and I have transferred £379.18 onto Gerald Taylor just now..

This is still open for another day so any new funds received will get transferred on Monday. It is just that given it its a Friday the transfer could complete in a few hours if Gerald's account has fast transfers as mine does... Then potentially it could get sent to the Philippines tonight or tomorrow!

    Well done everyone! :D

They only provide an occasional visitor Peter, when I spoke to him he said the first guy that came up from the embassy was pretty useless the second was a bit better I believe.

I have seen the same sort of thing mentioned on 'Banged up Abroad' in relation to other cases around the world, the embassy will not do much for you, 'Prisoners Abroad' is doing a far better job visiting and helping Kevin I believe.

I seem to remember emailing and calling the Embassy back in 2005 when Elsa applied for her visa, and I recall nothing but a bunch of script monkeys. One tip I got from Pete Bennett (ginapeterb for those who remember him on the dark side forum) was to be ballsy with the Embassy, tell them what you want, and refuse to budge till they give in - worked for me!

In total we have raised (after Paypal take their cut) £442.71 and the remaining £63.53 will be transferred on Monday.

Gerald Taylor sent me an email yesterday:

To be honest, we've raised double what I thought we would! So I am pleased we could do some good before Christmas.

    :vhappy:

    Well done everybody!!!

But the fight continues, this case is a mockery of justice and we need to continue talking about this.

    Credit to you sean............:like:

You have started this particular ball rolling and it gathered momentum as it went along...

And thanks to those efforts, the Taylors will have a better Christmas than they have had in recent years.

I feel proud to have had some small imput in this and sincerely hope that they will soon be freed and back with their children.

As soon as I suss how to write to a bigwig with the required amount of respect, I will certaily drop a few lines to.. op@president.gov.ph and make him aware of the situation, as MR. Hague doesn't seem to be very literate in that respect...

Fantastic stuff, well done everyone who donated and particularly to Sean for starting it. Lets hope that 2013 is a better for the Taylors. Still angry / amazed that their case hasn't been resolved. Makes me wonder if this is a one off or there are other poor buggers in the same boat?
