    Tell us why, Pete?
Have you been to the Philippines?

Hello aposhark, I have never been as I can't fly for medical reasons, I'm single and tbh, if it doesn't breach forum guidelines, I'm looking for a ladyfriend with the intention of marriage,,,

    Hiya Pete,
It's a pity you cannot visit there.
To be honest, the chances of meeting a Filipina on this forum is close to zero as this is not a dating site.
There are many dating sites out there but I have never been on one so cannot recommend anything, maybe someone else can help.
Best places are at churches, hospitals and in the wider community.

Best of luck in your search.

In the UK, Catholic churches and Hospitals are always a good starting point. Possibly care homes in the bigger cities too.

Also seek out (google for them ?) Filipino food stores and restaurants.

Thank you so much, and for the realism of meeting a lady here,,,
There are lots of care homes here on the south coast, hmm maybe do some voluntary work, but I'd feel a bit devious, I was actually confirmed Catholic although I've been lapsed for 42 years,,,
Food stores sound a good idea, there is one near me actually, Chester Avenue in East Worthing,,,#
idk of any restaurants though, thanks again!,,,

Also try the (free) POF dating site in the UK. I have seen quite a few Filipinas on there in the past...though it was a while back.

Worth a look anyway... and they all have lots of friends and relations of course. ;)

Thanks Graham, I have the feeling that any lady I do meet will be via an introduction from someone I have met in person,,,

yes--i met my wife through the PoF dating site ( although she would never admit it ! ). but she was already here in the UK on a 4 years student visa--and lived within walking distance of me. this was in 2011. there then followed 5 years of problems with annulment..divorce--illness--selling my house to raise the money. but we got there in the end.

i think the chances of starting a relationship with a pinay already settled in the UK is highly unlikely. to be blunt---why would they need a british husband if they already live here ? thats the reason most want a british man in the first place--to get into the UK!

there are several "date in asia " type dating sites--if you register you will be inundated--but do be very careful--many are not what they seem and NEVER EVER send money to someone you havent met--or better still--are in a relationship with. it doesnt matter if the carabao needs new dentures or grannies mobile phone got stolen.

Churches would be your best bet I would think?I live near the European headquarters of a filipino church, its not unusual to see 100+ mostly ladies coming or going through the doors.
