im from the philippines and new here. i just want an advice with you guys. i have applied for a visitors visa 3x already but all applications was refused. my husband and i understand why the first application was refused because we are not aware about the proofs and requirement. the reason for second refusal was "no strong family ties" although we have submitted lots of pictures and conversations. my hushand came here in the philippines to meet me again and my family just to prove that we have strong family ties. we applied again for the 3rd time and provide all the proofs and requirements, my husband wrote a letter as well but in his letter he said that he has a problem with his shoulder and he has a special child with him, her youngest daughter. i have the right to take care of them because they are now my family but 3rd application was also refused and the reason was i will not go there for vacation but employment and doubt that i will not go back if my visa expired, that was they said.
we are planning to apply again for thw 4th times.
hope you can give some advice
thank you in advance. God bless

I would be very surprised if you ever get a visitor visa now that your husband has stated he has a bad shoulder and special child and that you have a right to take care of them. You are not allowed to work on a visitor visa, as they will look at your visit as working as you will be caring for them.
If you are married why a visitor visa?

He may not meet the criteria for another type of visa, just as a guess.

    hi--welcome to the forum

if your husband is a british citizen living in the UK , you really need to apply for a settlement visa.
does your husband understand--and meet--the sponsorship ctiteria ?
we really do want to help you--but need more information.

do you want to live in the UK ?

Sorry, but the British government are too busy welcoming rich Arabs, Russian crooks, fake asylum seekers, assorted terrorists/sympathisers, and other human detritus, to attend to you and your husband's needs.

I am not sure that this is classed as work.

It’s not paid work but it’s work all the same. She wants to come to care for someone so that’s work not a visit.

I understand that as charity work is not allowed. However they are married and this is surely domestic activity. It was not an advisable thing to include in the application though.

i do hope @Lovelypinay comes back to the forum. i think she has misunderstood the
" second refusal was "no strong family ties" although we have submitted lots of pictures and conversations. my hushand came here in the philippines to meet me again and my family just to prove that we have strong family ties. "

i cant help thinking they havent seen much of each other .

I think Ukba will see it as not a tourist issue more akin to an "au pair" albeit informally that given the reasons to visit the UK isn't one of tourism etc but to look after a special child and a husband who has difficulties with his shoulder.
I think in UKBA eyes it has overstayer all over it hence the decision..

I think the letter from the husband has not helped if anything it's put the family in the worst possible position!
I also think the family have failed to understand the guidelines for visit visas

Only option here on in is a spouse visa route, in my opinion

Having a return ticket might help?,
It's annoying that if you enter the country illegally, you can claim asylum, but when you do the right thing you are refused entry,,,
They are denying your husband and his daughter the right to a family life imho,,,

Sorry @Pete55 the fact that the request is for a visit visa, to see her "husband" rings a lot of alarm bells!

This forum is not here to help people get around the system for their own gains.
