    I take your comments seriously and will finish reading the book I mentioned before doing anything else. I would be looking for a male practitioner anyway, just as I have employed male physiotherapists and chiropractors as they have a better understanding of male clients IMHO. Enjoy Canada.

    I take your point. There are a lot of poorly qualified people in the NHS however. After my other half’s recent experience when he was seriously ill - and my experience of dealing with the NHS - I won’t be clapping next time and healing hands would be better than some of the people we encountered. The staff from overseas, including and indeed especially Filipinos are caring and respectful and we would be lost without them.

    I know a private filipina PT here, she earns 100 dollars an hour (Canadian).Got a few PT's in the family :)
