I still have time, but I will need to decide which Visa to apply for. If I apply for the marriage visa then my gf cant work in the UK when she is here but if I want the settlement visa then I would need to get married to her first in the Philippines. So I could goto the Philippines in December and get married to her then apply for the settlement Visa next year. Has anyone got married in the Philippines? How difficult that?

Only in so far as you will need to be earning more if she has the baby before settlement, the other option would be to leave the baby in the Philippines and get the baby over at a later date when your wife has a steady job..
It will be rather expensive for you to prove that unless you are married to the mother before she gives birth as the Passport Office may insist on you providing the results of a three-way DNA test. And that will have to be done in Manila.
I think this alternative is storing up issues for the future. If I was a UKBA person the first question I would ask the mother is " how could you leave a newborn" Then would come the question "Do you care" Then "If grandma Philippines has looked after the child since birth why cannot that arrangement continue?"
