Truth is they don't know where to hide for embarassment. Whomever posted thei item, and whomever approved the posting of it should be sued for damages. You can judge for yourself and see what conclusion you arrive to. Didn't like the french much for personal reasons, but now, between this episode and the closing of the borders thus making a mockery of Schengen right of movement, they really done it for me. I will petition to stop exports of soap and toiletries to that wretched country. not that they wash much.......
Advertisers all over the world will do anything to sell things. They always have. This is one of the reasons I don't have a TV licence. Even when I was kid, my parents, my sister and I always turned the adverts off as soon as they started. "Whoa, adverts!"..... and someone grabbed the remote really fast.
That was not aired as an advert, I am afraid. It seems to me that the only thing they were trying to sell was anti-italian sentiments.
