Fiancé visa hardest parts of it

My nephews girlfriend has just got two and a half years extention, and permission to work, she is working in one of the families Thai restaurants.

Can someone clear something up for me....I've told council tax people she's living here etc...but as I was living on my own and paying 25 percent less for being single person....should I now be paying for my lady now also?

Yeah your no longer entitled to your discount, best thing to do is add her to billing address they will get it sorted then.

You will need a revised council tax bill with both your names on it...it will be needed when she applies for her first FLR...as one proof she lives with you. She will need more letters addressed to both of you at the same address.

Yeh sorted this...i have told them and I have a council tax bill addressed to her now...problem is...they spelt her name wrong...so will chase them up to change it

Was anyone able to open an account. While on fiance visa?

@UKDJ is just ahead of you on this one and is probably a good member to talk you through what they experienced. Personally I cannot see any reason why you cant,as always I would suggest you have a go and see what happens, always good to practice. Are you married now?
