According to the Inquirer 60 People in Makati have been arrested for vote buying, why is that?

In barangays Up and down the Philippines vote buying is perfectly normal isn’t it?

Yes... one receives lots of little gifts at this time of the year. :like:

You will also be stopped for not wearing a crash helmet on your motorbike in Makati... but as for the provinces... ;)

I thought about posting a picture of some beautifully perfect 500 PHP notes that were given to certain legal voters that may or may not live in my house!
Each note had a good quality 3X3 inch white label with not only the picture of the candidate in question, but also proudly printed in bold, there it was..Their name!
The thing I admire most about the corruption in the Philippines compared with the corruption in the U.K is at least here they are honest and up front about it!!

I saw Bong revillas absolutely ridiculous dancing electoral advert, cleared of graft and corruption but has to pay back 125 million peso?

Did anyone read one candidate won the mayoral position in some town I think it was Palawan in a best-of-three coin toss?
