Driving in Philippines

    Hi all,

    Is i correct in thinking i can drive in the Philippines for up to 90 days if i have a uk driver license?

    Yes that's right - but judging from the driving I've seen since I arrived - you're a braver man than me. I wouldn't drive here - looks like a stressful accident waiting to happen.

    Do you know if you need insurance or does it get included in the cost of the hire?

    Fancy hiring motorbike to escape the city easier.

    Aside from bike insurance whoever provides it, I would check your travel insurance as well,

    Cheers John, not sure i'll bother with this app over google maps, which i'm familiar with already but i'll take a look. ;)

    I've used both in work travel and social, prefer Google, however have found Waze very useful in the UK and on our travels in mainland Europe for the geography of low emission zones, something Google maps appears not to do ( unless I've missed it on Google

    I think the system allocates things like " trusted member" at some point! I don't take much notice of it

    No it doesn't, someone has to explicitly promote a person, we are very very lazy and have not promoted anyone for a long long long time.
