Hope you have good insurance for Canada ;) :D

The death rate in the Philippines has been low from the beginning of this because it is a young country, young demographic, and because of incredibly strict quarantine measures I don't like the guy who's running it but the measures they took worked.

You would not find me in the USA ever, and if you look at almost all the good travel insurance policies they have special conditions for travelling to the USA probably because medical costs there are insane.

These figures are for today a week ago the US was at 500,000 cases a day.

I ALWAYS get good insurance ;) every time I go to the himalayas I get good insurance in case I need a medivac helicopter out of some remote valley, I throw caution to the wind in lots of areas in my life but I wouldn't do so in medical or travel insurance :ninja:

To me the most important thing about travel insurance is using a company that will pay out without making a dramatic argument over everything, in the past I have always preferred to get LV's travel insurance as they are one of the good companies, however their product is much reduced compared to pre-pandemic and it pretty expensive for a 12 months multi trip (up to 90 days) I just got a quote for £135 and that's more than the last time I insured with them in 2019 and is a lesser insurance.

The most important part for me is the medical side of travel insurance, second is the cover for flight cancellation but that was less important to me in the past when flights were a lot cheaper.
