Use a bit of common sense.

Something that's lacking in today's society.

Yeah absolutely right I want everyone to die so that people can go and buy a skirt for half price at Primark.

Is that the answer you're looking for?

For the avoidance of doubt, that is not my answer.

I care about civil liberties, proportionate reactions from law makers and the police enforcing the law rather than making their own law.

When you start getting hysterical that people going out for a walk are killing people, you have lost the plot.

You really don't seem to have understood how the virus spreads and your lack of understanding is very worrying.

It is worrying because, if you don't know the problem, you are putting others' lives at risk as well as your family.

I asked you did you have a wife and children with you because it was to ascertain if you have dependents in your house and, if so, you should really understand how dangerous it is to catch as well as spread the virus to them as well as others.

There are warnings all over the internet, facebook and forums like ours and you really should get the facts straight asap. If you are still unsure, I hope this will help you:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-52188227

If you think I have lost the plot because of people being out on walks, have you not seen any warnings on TV or on the internet?

Have you not noticed how people are social-distancing themselves on walks? Have you not noticed how people at the supermarket are spread out by 2 metres or more?
As I look out of my house I see all the houses have all their cars on the driveways when there are usually none as everyone is at work.

If you have not noticed any or all of this, you really need to give your head a wobble.

I am starting to wonder if you are a troll; someone who just says anything to get attention.

Extract from the link you posted

A spokesman for Gloucester City Police wrote on Twitter: “PC Evans and PC Patel have just taken over PC Plant and PC Azam checking to see if travel to stores are essentials.

“It's nice weather we know, but plant pots, plants and paint at this time are not essential.”
It appears that the police are doing a balanced job by checking to see if customers are traveling for essentials.
What the report doesnt elude to and therefore it is difficult to fingerpoint or support was what else the customers checked had putchased.
Was it solely DIY the customer had that was checked if so police right to action
Was it DIY plus food then police would be open to critisism if they took action as customers had come out for essenials

Bit of a no win situation for thd police on the basis of the content of the report.

    How?

Have we managed to cure the common cold, ever, in the entire history of the human race.

Antivirals exist, many are ridiculously expensive, they work to varying degrees, and in treating with antivirals you risk the evolution of a viral strain that is resistant to the antiviral if the treatment is not 100% effective, that resistant strain then goes on to repopulate the host and maybe kill them.

Antivirals take time to develop as do vaccines, antiviral drugs are not vaccines they are not the same thing but both take time to develop and they could take decades if they are even possible.

Some approximations of those figures already exist I think but I'm not going searching just now, again these numbers may come out much later.

Also it seems that males of all age groups are more likely to suffer the more extreme conclusion of this virus. Maybe the cure there is a sex change.

Yes I know. But there is so much myth about that the general public are confused and half the supposed authorities on this are confused.

I and many others eat a ton of eggs, cheese, full fat milk, double cream, fatty meat, nuts etc and lose weight, reduce blood pressure and improve cholesterol. The idea that these fats clog the arteries is a myth created sometime back in the 70s.

Cholesterol is good. We need it. Our brain needs it. Too little is not good.

Has anyone got any thoughts on why the Philippines is doing far better than here in the U.K.?
