Hi just wondering how long it took anyone to receive there certificate from the UK embassy in Manila, or can I have it posted to embassy from the UK, some websites say they hold for 3 weeks before releasing the document and then another 10 days for the marriage certificate to be released that's 31 days altogether and I can only get 28 days of work

You'll get your authorised document within a few minutes of completing the affirmation/affidavit.

Be sure to carefully review the link provided by bigmac to ensure you have all the needed documentations

You will get the affidavit same day. You then will need to go to city hall and register to get married. You technically should get the marriage license 10 working days later but in practice it tends to take longer. In my case it took 15 working days to get it. We applied license 1st of month and married on 28th. I made two trips to make it easier. Don't forget if you're in the Phils longer than 28 days you'll have to extend your tourist visa.

I thought you was allowed 30 days on your tourist visa.
