Adobe Flash - that's a security risk, isn't it? Other than that, the calculator's far too simplistic to more meaningful than a gimmick. I'm not sure what the unit of measurement is on that rather elderly web page; is it tons - in which case, are they short, long or metric - or maybe it's kips, talents or shekels; grams maybe? If it's grams or shekels then you're in trouble by adding your cremated slices of Hovis.
Adobe flash is a simple switch in Edge, you can allow it for a single page on a single occasion support is there automatically, it allowed a graphics canvas in the day when the browser could not do it itself, other than that Flash is a piece of blood sucking garbage that sucks the life out of your processor.
Forgive me but my PCs host as few bits of Microsoft-coded software as is possible. Indeed the i7-based Dell Inspiron I'm currently using came with something called Windows 10 which was immediately consigned to the bit bucket and replaced with something more sensible. I completely agree with your closing phrase, highlighted above. But why stop at Flash, I'd include Windows and Office in that description (my loathing of all things and all men Microsoft is purely personal).
