    Strictly-speaking what you say is correct, Max. But these things are open to interpretation and, provided I am permitted to remain here, I rather think I and my family will be able to visit Italy without any problems - so long as we take the fast ferry from Valletta as there reportedly no border checks at the small Sicilian ferry terminal.

    Yes but they tend to visit for just a few days, they don't actually live here. Well not on dry land, if they want to spend any time in Malta, they send word to Monaco for their multi-million Pound yachts to meet them in Grand Harbour.
