No news of a meet up of members at this year's fiestas?

There appear to be two separate fiestas on consecutive weekends - 6th and 13th July. Which is the best?

The 2 Associations must have sat down and trashed out an accord, as usually they used to be held on the same week-end...

I was hoping, for Melody's sake at least to have us go somewhere that there would be a good turnout. Who went last year? What were your impressions? It's over 100 miles from where we live. I don't want to drive all that way for a village fete sized event!
