I'm extremely fond of the pipes but I never really knew this tune as I never watched the film. I remember very clearly the playing of Highland Cathedral during the Hong Kong handover ceremony in 1997 I think I posted this before but someone called it a dirge it is one of my favourites. This version is by the Red Hot Chilli Pipers a great wee pipe rock band The pipers of old nicked many of their tunes from the harp and some sound fantastic on the harp like this one, worth listening to the end, there is a change of tempo and timing towards the end I first heard Sileas in the mid 80s on the radio I wish I had seen them live.
